How to wear metallic/shiny Clothes

Metallic dresses have become all year round wardrobe staple. This season, fashion world has gone crazy for heavy metal. Metallic clothes are the perfect choice when you want to shine without the sequins.

We spotted sparkle pieces in Jenny Packham, Antonio Berardi and Christopher Kane SS13 runway shows, where the designers sent models down the catwalk wearing sequins, embellishment and sparkle items.

If you’re new to this trend and you don’t want to go all out, try accessorising using metallic pieces such as metallic clutch, shoes or nail varnish. Keep your make up and accessories to a minimal when wearing metallic clothes. For day wear, team up metallic items with other pieces from your closet.
