Happy Monday everyone, hope y’all had a lovely weekend. My weekend was fabulous as I attended the London Fashion Week Off schedule show which was amazing, I can’t wait to share the event/photos with you guys.
A few weeks ago I decided to wear this cargo pants that I have had for ages. Cargo pants or cargo trousers are no longer for just hiking/trekking or travelling as they a great alternative to jeans and suit most occasions. Cargo pants which were originally military dress come in different lengths, materials and cuts.
Cargo trousers tend to be loose fitting or skinny fit with one or more flap/cargo pockets sewn on the leg. They’re versatile, comfortable and can be teamed up with a variety of footwear and tops. When buying cargo pants you should consider your own personal style, body shape and fit (fashion cargo pants should fit comfortably around the hips without being too tight around the crotch & buttocks).
Baggy/wide leg cargo pants look great when teamed with slim fit tops while slimmer fitting cargo pants look great with various tops.
How to style cargo pants/trousers
For a casual outfit pair skinny cargo trousers with a cami top, clutch, small structured blazer, clutch bag and a pair of heels for a date night look. For a more relaxed take on the cargo pants, wear it with sandals/flat shoes, a tank top, necklace and sunglasses for a polished look. For an autumn-winter look wear cargo trousers with a t-shirt, biker jacket and boots. For a night out look with the girls wear cargo pants with crop top and killer heels to complete your look.
What I wore: I wore this loose army green cargo pants with a denim shirt, black studded heels and multi coloured bracelets for a chic off duty look.
