Essential oils for natural hair growth

Essential oils for natural hair growth 1

Healthy hair starts at the scalp. Oil(s) is essential for natural hair growth especially if you’re an African or African American as their scalp tend not to produce a lot of oil therefore their scalp need to be oiled. When mixing your hair oils, it’s best to use carrier oil as your base (carrier oil carries the essential oil to the skin/scalp- e.g. jojoba oil, grapeseed, sunflower oil, sweet almond oil).

Below is what I would call oils that are essential for your hair growth. I have used these products and I can assure you they work wonders to your hair & scalp.

Coconut oil – easily absorbed by the skin, prevents hair damage, promotes hair growth and moisturises the hair.

Castor oil – great fir thickening your hair and preventing hair thinning, reduces split ends, promotes hair growth and moisturises the hair.

Shea butter: easy absorbed into the scalp & does not clog pores, protects against heat, great for sealing/locking in moisture, softens brittle hair, sooth irritated scalp

Jojoba oil: great for moisturising, improving hair strength, deep conditioning.

Avocado oil: great for moisturising, improving hair strength, deep conditioning.

Olive oil: great for deep conditioning, reduces dandruff, good hair moisturiser and improves hair strength.

Rosemary oil: Great for stimulating hair follicles for hair growth, strengthens hair, reduces dandruff and boosts hair shine.
