Tv console unit is a focal point in a living room and you need one that will stand out for all the right reasons. We needed to replace our glass tv table for something modern and classic. As soon as we saw this Tv stand on FacebookMarketplace we knew exactly how we wanted to transform it. This upcycle was inspired by The Nine Schools Qing Tv console unit.

- First thing first, I had to repair the broken leg. I used a mixture of wood glue and filler and let it dry for 24hours.
- Remove the door and all the door handles and hinges then sanding down the whole tv unit including the broken leg.
- Clean the Tv console unit using soapy water and let it dry before painting.
- Go ahead and paint the unit, I used white chalky paint and did two coats of paint.
- I added two doors (made from Mdf) to close the gap and used the 90 degree hidden hinges to hold them in place.
- Add the handles and the hinges.
- I applied clear wax to protect the furniture.
- Voila the cabinet is ready.
