Whites have caught the fashion world’s eye this season and celebrities have not been left behind, as they have been spotted rocking the white trend from the red carpets events to out and about.
Monochromatic white has been the sought out colour this summer 2013 as it’s versatile and can be dressed up or down depending on personal preference. White on white gives you a monochromatic look that makes you appear taller and elegant.

Tips on how to wear whites
Since it’s not easy to pull off this trend here are a few tips to keep in mind while wearing whites, accessorise your look with colourful accessories or keep it simple with beige/metallic accessories. If you have dark skin tone opt for cream colours to complement your skin, but if you have pale skin tone avoid wearing tones that are similar to your skin’s tone to avoid looking washed out. When choosing whites don’t go for whites that are brighter than the whites of your eyes or teeth to avoid looking washed out.

Have a stain remover pen at hand especially when there are children around or spaghetti bolognese (you will thank me for this). If you’re curvaceous I will suggest you mix your bright whites with creams as light colours like white have a way of making things appear larger but if you’re a fashion forward individual feel free to wear bright white on white.

Here are a few ways one can wear white on white, pair a cream suit with a silk top underneath ii and heels for a sleek feminine look. For a day in the beach look wear your white mini/ maxi dress with sandals for a relaxing look. For an effortlessly whiteout look pair white skinny jeans with a white tuxedo blazer, white silk top and silver metallic pointed heels.
