Hope y’all had a lovely weekend, mine weekend was quiet a relaxing one as on Friday I had a few friends round for a movie night. Saturday and Sunday was pretty much the same eating, chillaxing and watch movies and Tv series.

I wore this outfit on Sunday where I paired my asymmetric tweed biker jacket with lace pencil skirt, red tank top and snake print shoes. This is the only tweed jacket that I own and I love the asymmetric zip which gives it a modern update on the classic biker feeling to it. The jacket fits so well I was really impressed by Primark.

Tweed jackets originated from Scotland and are classic stylish fashion statement piece of clothe for both men and women. Tweed jackets can be paired with a basic tee-shirt, blouse or knitwear. When wearing tweed jacket with a blouse or t-shirt pick out a colour from the jacket’s pattern and use it as a base for your outfit otherwise wear neutral colours. Tweed jackets can also be paired with complementary patterns/prints but make sure the prints/patterns are in the same colour group as your tweed jacket.

How to style a tweed jacket

Here are a few ways one can wear a tweed jacket. For a formal casual look pair your tweed jacket with grey/khaki/black cropped pants, blouse and patent heels. For a tomboyish look pair your tweed jacket with a t-shirt, boyfriend jeans/shorts and loafers. For a lady like look pair the tweed jacket with a pencil skirt, tank top and heels just like the way I wore mine. Layer a tweed jacket with knitwear, statement necklace and skinny jeans. Tweed jackets can also be paired with a dress and flat shoes for a day time or with heels for a night look.
