Hope y’all having a lovely week so far. Tulle trend is a trend to love or hate. I personally am not a huge fan of tulle trend but when I was given this skirt by one of my friend last year I decided to keep it and wear it when the opportunity arise.
Tulle skirts are no longer just for dressing up, children or ballerinas as they are versatile and easy to wear. They can be worn to formal events as well as casual day wear.
I decided to pair a black tulle skirt with red top, silver metallic pointed heels; heart shape bracelet and leopard print strap watch for a simple look.
Ways to style tulle skirts
For a tomboy look pair a tulle skirt with a biker jacket, a vest and military boots. For a preppy chic look wear a tulle skirt with a button up shirt with a round or V-neck sweater and brogues to complete your look. For a classy glamorous look team up a tulle skirt with embellished top & high heels for a stylish look. For a dinner date wear a tulle skirt with a denim or chambray shirt, clutch bag and strappy heels for a sleek look.
How celebrities wear tulle trend
Selena Gomez wore a black strapless dress with a tulle skirt which she paired with black heels and a fishnet veil over her head for a glamorous look. Jessica Wright paired her pink tutu skirt with a white spaghetti crop top, statement floral pink necklace, a pink clutch and Saint Laurent classic tribute 105 sandals. Cara Santana wore a midi length mint tulle skirt with a tucked white blouse; inspire metallic clutch and black heels when she attended Nylon’s Young Hollywood Issue party. Lara Bingle paired her white cropped t-shirt with a luxurious black tulle ballerina skirt for a photo shoot for CLEO magazine. For her wedding outfit Olivia Palermo wore a cream jumper embellished with ostrich feathers with a white high low tulle skirt both designed by Carolina Herrera and dark blue Manolo Blahnik shoes.
What I wore: red top: New look, black tulle skirt: gifted, metallic silver heels: New look
