Catsuit which are famously worn by superheroes are becoming increasing popular with the celebrities and the high streets. Catsuit is the latest summer trend which has been spotted on a few celebrities in Glastonbury music festival. These all in one can be a bit tricky to pull off and do make sure you don’t have a weak bladder before wearing them as they can be a pain to get out of when you need a wee.

Not sure if this skin tight lycra suit is going to be a hit or miss but the designer of the Ekat katsuits, Ekaterina Malysheva insists that her designs are more than just a fashion statement. She said ‘You need to wear something very, very simple (at a festival) and something you can easily move around in’. ‘Our silhouettes are easy to take on and off, are sexy because they are body hugging and backless and have a very funky print. As we know Glastonbury is pretty messy, rain and mud are easily washed off.’

How to style a catsuit

Below are ways to rock this trend without looking like an extra in a Spiderman movie.

Catsuit with a bold cropped jacket: Rita Ora wore a lobster printed Ekaterina Malysheva catsuit with a red cropped PVC jacket from Replay, white cowboy style fringed boots, pink mirrored sunglasses, large hoop earrings and a simple bracelet.

Skin-tight lycra suit with a denim jacket: Sienna Miller wore a skin-tight cat suit by Russian brand Ekat which she teamed with a casual denim jacket, denim fedora hat, black knee-high boots and Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses.

Ekat Catsuit with trainers & fringed jacket: Jamie Winstone paired her all in one catsuit with a black fringed jacket, metallic shirt tied around her waist, 50s-style sunglasses, white muddy trainers and black socks for a boho festival outfit.

Catsuit with heels: Nicole Scherzinger attended Sushi Samba’s 1st anniversary at the Heron Tower in a skin tight Julien Macdonald catsuit with fishnet side panel, which she teamed with a pair of black towering heels. Lily Allen stepped out in a black perforated skin-tight catsuit and towering black Loboutin heels as she performed at Mojo club in Hamburg Germany.

All-in-one skin-tight jumpsuit with biker jacket & wellies: Mary Charteris wore an elephant print Ekat Katsuit with biker a black jacket, black aviator sunglasses and black short Hunter wellies for a chic festival style.
