Culottes

Culottes are the ultimate wardrobe style staple. Culottes can be worn the same way as you would wear a midi skirt. These pants are timeless and versatile, pair them with boots in autumn-winter and flats or heels in spring-summer. Culottes are characterised by a wide leg and midi length hem. They come in high waist, pleats, loose or slim fitting.

Tips on how to wear culottes

  • If you’re petite we recommend opting for slim fit or tailored culottes that will flatter your body and make sure the pants legs are not so long that they will drown your legs.
  • If you’re short we recommend pairing them with heels to help elongate your legs.
  • Opt for soft folds and avoid bulky material at the waist as they will give you a wide waist or make you look heavier than you are which is something you don’t want.
  • Opt for tops that have less volume (such as silky top) than the culotte pants. Tops can be tucked in or out depending on how you feel and make sure your top doesn’t go past your hipbone if you tuck out.
