If you ever had those days where you wish you could take your duvet everywhere with you then the blanket trend is for you. Blanket trend was initially spotted at Burberry’s & Chloe’s autumn-winter 2014 catwalk show where the designers sent models down the runway dressed in blankets that was when we knew a new AW14 style staple was born.
Blanket wrap trend is a must have autumn-winter coat trend this season. They’re versatile, comfortable and chic. To be honest, they’re not a rocket science when it comes to wearing them, just think of what you would wear if you were wearing a coat but instead just throw on a blanket and voila you’re good to go. Blankets can be worn with skirts, trousers, legging, dresses, jeans and shorts.
Just because blankets are on trend don’t go all crazy on us by using your large bedroom blanket but instead invest in a small blanket which you can buy from the high streets. If that is too much hustle for you and you’re planning to fly out anytime soon make sure you get yourself the plane blanket and you’ll still be bang on trend.
