70s style flared jeans
Hello guys, I hope y’all had a lovely weekend; mine was okay though I didn’t do much apart from catching up with my favourite TV shows.
Lately it has started to feel like spring again, which is a little bit of a relief from the cold days we have been having.
I wore this ensemble on Sunday I paired my flared jeans with pastel pink blouse and wedge sandals shoes. I am a big fun of flared jean, at one point I only had flared jeans and nothing else. Flare jeans are versatile and can be worn in so many ways.
70s styles are making a comeback with the flare and everyone can sure rock this trend. When choosing flared jeans make sure your hem is within an inch or less of the ground so as to show a little bit of the shoe platform.
Flares look best with heels or wedge try and stay clear from sandals/flat shoes unless you’re planning to be sweeping the streets. Super flares are perfect for people with long legs but if you’re short opt for jeans/pants that are skinny through the thigh with a flare that starts at the top of the calf.
Tips on how to flare jeans
Here are a few tips on how to channel the 70’s style flare jeans/pants without looking like Charlie’s Angels extra. Pair flared jeans with a basic top/tank top, wedges and a belt. You can also wear a fitted blouse with a boyfriend blazer/fitted blazer with heels. Pair flared jeans/pants with a tunic top that falls to mid-thigh, heels and cropped denim jacket for a classy evening look.
Wear your flare with button up denim shirt/patterned shirt and heels for a clean sleek look; you can even throw in a blazer. You can also pair a flowing silk blouse (avoid too many frills) with flared jeans, belt and heels. Wear a crop top with a high waisted flare jean to break up the proportions. Take the flare jeans/pants to another level by wearing coloured flare jeans/pants.
