Capri pants
Capri pants are not just for women over 50s although these pants can be a bit tricky to pull off but worry not as we’re here to help you look a million dollar in them regardless of your shape, size or height. Capri trousers have a tendency of highlighting your chunky calf, making you look heavier and shorter which is not a flattering look to any woman.
Cropped pants are characterized by ending right above the ankle while capri pants end between midi-calf. Capri pants are more considered casual and mostly worn in summer. Capri trousers look perfect with mules, ankle boots, sandals, loafers or sneakers.
She looks fabulous in these khaki capri pants/trousers which she teamed with a floral top, coral criss cross strappy T-bar high heels, & a matching handbag for a sleek look.
Tips on how to wear crop pants/trousers
* Avoid wearing crop trousers that are flared and end at midi calf as they will make you look frumpy and wide. Opt for capri pants that are between your calf and ankle for a flattering look.
* Wear capri trousers that are straight or tapered leg.
* Again if you’re vertically challenged like me, don’t wear capri trousers with flat shoes. Instead opt for heels, kitten heels or wedges to give an illusion of long legs.
* Opt for high waisted capri trousers or tuck in your blouse/top if you’re short, which will make your legs look longer.
* If you’re short wear tops/blouses that skim the top of your capris to elongate your legs, otherwise if length is not your issue you’re okay to wear capri trousers with long tops.
