It feels like we have been hibernating for ages and we can’t wait for spring-summer to get here. This is such a perfect summer outfit which can also be worn during winter time by pairing it with tights to help keep the legs warm.
I decided to wear this mustard cable knit sweater with a gingham shirt underneath it, rainbow striped mini skirt (seen here), black tights and a pair of black ankle strap peep toe heels for a bright winter look. This colourful outfit is just perfect to get you through the winter gloom.

They can be styled to achieve a classic borrowed-from-the-boys element to your style or worn over a button down shirt for a preppy look. Gingham shirts have been men’s favorites for years and are now must have pieces in every woman’s wardrobe this season and are guaranteed to add flair to your look. They come in different colours and check sizes and look perfect when teamed with skirts, jeans, trousers or shorts. Gingham shirts can also be incorporated into your office/work wear for a bang on trend look.
Rainbow striped mini skirt:
Add a splash of colour to your outfit with rainbow shades. Rainbow fashion trend was spotted last year at Paris Fashion week when designers such as Chanel & Givenchy sent models down the runway dressed in vibrant hues. Rainbow trends can be worn with neutral colours or pick a colour that match one or two striped and wear it.
