It has been a while seen I did a DIY project, I have been super busy lately that’s why I haven’t had enough time to do DIY.
With that said a couple of weeks ago I was inspired and I decided to do a DIY on one of my favourite statement necklace that was broken.
The statement necklace is pretty heavy and was held together by a ribbon. I replaced the tore ribbon with a chain from one of my old necklace that I have never worn since buying it.
You’ll need: Chain (from old necklace), Round nose pliers, Bent nose pliers
Remove the broken/damaged ribbon from the necklace and measure the length against the old chain necklace to get the right length of the chain. Use the round nose pliers to creating loops, which makes it easy to remove parts of the chain.
Attach/hook the chain into the statement necklace and use the bent nose pliers to close & secure jump rings into the chain
Voila the necklace is ready
