How to Make a Gold Pendulum Wall Mirror Using Skewers

This gold pendulum wall mirror will standout in any room. This mirror is simple but yet elegant and will look perfect in any room in your home. This mirror sells for over £200 but we will show you how to make it for less than £5.

What you need

  • Skewers / multi aperture photo frame e.g W 53cm x L 3cm x H 23cm
  • Hot glue gun
  • Clippers
  • Ruler
  • Frameless round mirror – using 28 cm diameter round mirror
  • Gold spray paint or acrylic paint
  1. If using skewers, for the 2 longer sides measure 28cm using a ruler and remove the sharp tips using a clipper.
  2. For the small sides, measure 13cm for two pieces.
  3. Use hot glue gun and glue the pieces together to form a rectangle which will be the pendulum.
  4. If your using a photo frame, remove the glass so that you’re left with the wooden frame.
  5. Now you can go ahead and spray paint your pendulum (the rectangles shape skewer or photo frame)
  6. Once the paint has dried, go ahead and attach your pendulum on the mirror using hot glue, make sure the pendulum is in the middle.
  7. The mirror is ready to be hung
