Summer 2015 fashion trends

Must have summer

Summer is upon us and the weather has been incredibly amazing for the last few days but for the Brits don’t hold your breath yet as we don’t know how long this will last.

Here are a few trends that we have spotted both on high streets and from spring summer 2015 catwalk shows.

Chockers: Chockers are back this summer and we have spotted them on a few of our favourite high streets such as Topshop and River Island. I personally was never a fan of chockers in the 1990s but who knows I might give them a try this season. Let your neck do all the talking in a chocker which can be worn with dresses,  jeans,  shorts and skirts.

Fringe accessories: rock a Boho chic look with fringed accessories such as fringe heeled sandals, handbags and backpacks. If you’re not a fan of bohemian fashion you can simply ease into it with fringed accessories. Fringed accessories can be worn with dresses, skirts, jeans or shorts.

Culottes: culottes are fashion pieces that never go out of fashion. We have spotted a few celebrities and fashionistas rocking culottes which make them must have pants/trousers this summer. Culottes look great with crop tops, tank tops/vests, blouses, blazers and and biker jackets. Click here to see how to rock your culottes all year round.

Neon trend: neon is such a summer trend and is guaranteed to get you noticed for all the right reason. Neon can be incorporated with other colours or prints for a bold striking look.

Prints and patterns: it’s time to bring out all your prints and patterns.  From floral to tropical, geometric to Aztec and stripes, prints and patterns are must have this summer.

Flared pants: This 1970s trend never go out of style.  Flared pants/trousers are must have this summer and look perfect when teamed with blouses, crop tops, blazers, biker jackets or vest tops.

Oriental prints: take a walk to the eastern side with oriental prints.  Oriental prints come in form of palazzos, kimono tops, trousers,  tops, dresses, accessories and shorts.

Since we all know its summer and the heat can be a little bit unbearable without mentioning the heatwave we recommend you should dress for the body you have, not the body you want.
