Tropical prints
Tropical prints are vibrant, stylish & this season must have. These exotic prints come in form of palm trees, fruits (lemon, pineapple), vegetables, beaches, banana leaves, parrot print, flowers & colours and peaks.
This print was also spotted on Kenzo, Hermes, Miu Miu and Fausto Puglisi spring summer 2014 collections. Good news is that you don’t need to be on a beach somewhere in Saint Tropez or Ibiza to rock this exotic print as the high streets are flooded with them and they can be worn to work or weekend away.
How to style tropical print
One can decide to wear tropical prints head to toe, or one tropical print piece at a time or mix it up by incorporating it with other prints/patterns just like the way I wore my tropical print skirt & a floral top.
Pair tropical print trouser or skirt with a solid coloured top and heels and a clutch bag. Wear a tropical print dress with neutral heel for an evening look. For a casual look wear a tropical print jumpsuit with a blazer (we suggest choosing one solid colour from the tropical print for the blazer). Finish off your look with a statement necklace, a pair of heels for an evening look or flat shoes for a shopping look. And if you’re not a big fan of tropical prints we suggest you wear them in small doses in form of accessories for a bang on trend look.
