‘Iro’ (wrapper skirt) & ‘buba’ (top) is a traditional style that was mostly worn by the Yoruba of Nigeria but nowadays anyone can rock this trend. Iro & buba’ is also known as ‘oleku’ only that oleku is with shorter sleeves & four corners or round neckline. This trend can be worn by young or old, slim or curvaceous, tall or short individuals and comes in short, midi or long sleeves tops & wrappers length.

‘Iro & buba can be worn to traditional/social events and special occasions such as weddings or birthday parties. The knot on the wrapper skirt (‘iro’) can be tied on the front, side or back. The skirt & top (iro & buba) come in different prints, colours & fabrics such as lace, silk, chiffon or velvet etc.
