Transparent clothes that display underwear are gaining popularity thanks to Kim Kardashian who has been spotted wearing them in numerous occasions. This trend that leaves nothing to the imagination is a big no for us.
Kim Kardashian who is well known for wearing crop tops with high waisted body hugging pencil skirt is slowly introducing this trend to the fashion world. Not sure if this trend is going to catch on, we hope not as we don’t fancy seeing people knickers on display.
In case you’re tempted into trying this trend; do wear an undergarment underneath your transparent clothes like chemise, negligee, petticoat, slips or light weight pieces to cover your modest.
Last year the socialite wore a lace a white Dolce & Gabbana lace and silk organza midi dress part of the brands AW13 collection that left her black underwear on display. She wore the dress with black & metallic strappy sandals.
On another occasion Kim flashed her black grandma knickers & bra in a metallic long sleeve crop top with a matching high waist skirt. She completed her look with a pair of metallic Jimmy Choo Anouk holographic leather pumps.
Rihanna is also trying to keep up with the Kardashian as she wore a Simone Rocha embellished Floral Transparent Skirt from their spring 2014 collection which left her pink knickers on display. She paired the skirt with a white crop top, white Givenchy studded lace oxfords, Lady Dior bag and a key necklace for a dinner outfit with her best friend Melissa.
Recently Kim flashed her brassiere and high-waisted Bridget Jones-style underpants in a green lace shift dress from Rachel Roy AW13 as she stepped out in New York. She accessorised her dress with a pair of glamorous gold strappy heels.
