Congratulations to all the winners of GQ Men of the year award but we at FashionCadet were more interested in what the celebrities wore to the event.
Below is a breakdown of who wore what at the GQ Men of the year Awards 2014.
Ellie Goulding opted for a winter white gown by Ermanno Scervino SS14 which features lace details and a small train of understated ruffles. Kim Kardashian West who won the woman of the year award looked well put together in a Ralph & Russo bespoke haute couture embellished skirt with front slit from their AW14 collection which she paired with a black PVC bodysuit and barely there sandals to complete her look. Lindsay Lohan stepped out in Balmain Diamanté Zebra Stripe Gown from the brands AW13 collection and cost £3550. The dress featured a thigh high split at the side and finished off her look with a pair of black multiple straps heels.
Nicole Scherzinger looked stunning in a wrap strapless dress by Ermanno Scetvino. The dress is from the fashion label’s Resort 2015 collection and features satin stripe down the back and ruched tulle. Pippa Middleton looked elegant in a pale pink sequinned dress by Hugo Boss which features low chignon and the ankle-length hem. She finished off her look with a box clutch, diamond oval hoop earrings, a matching bracelet and bronze strappy sandals. Dame Helen Mirren looked polished in three quarter sleeved red dress which she paired with leopard print heels, snake skin clutch and gold earrings.
Daisy Lowe wore a plunging tailored Barbara Casasola AW14 jumpsuit which showed plenty if side boobs. She accessorised her look with a pair of deep red suede heels and a black chain handbag. Jessie J didn’t disappoint either in her choice of dress as she opted for a plunging neckline & thigh high split breaking the chest or leg rule. The singer wore a plunging emerald green satin gown by Jean Paul Gaultier reminding us of this autumn colour, emerald green. She accessorised the look with Stephen Webster jewels and a pair of strappy black leather Yves Saint Laurent stilettos. Jenna Coleman opted for 60s glamour in Saint Laurent sequin-embellished tweed dress from the brands Fall 2014 collection & cost £1770 in MyTheresa website. She completed her metallic silver shift dress with a pair of simple gold bangles and a stunning pair of black Paul Andrew heels.
Cara Delevingne opted for a Burberry Prorsum sheer black lace dress from the brand Fall 2014 Ready-to-wear collection. She paired the sheer lace dress with just a pair of high-waisted hotpants/knickers underneath and accessorised with a gold long necklace, belt, £270 Tabitha Simmons buckle detail peep toe ankle boots, berry lipstick for a stylish look. Jourdan Dunn stole the show in Zuhair Murad Fall 2014 couture dress which features fishnet/mesh detail panels & sequins leaving nothing to the imagination. Rita Ora opted for a Grecian look in a one sleeve design & thigh high slit embellished dress which she accessorised with nude strappy heels.
