African fashion is more than zebra or leopard prints, people have also generalised Africa as if is one big country forgetting that its a continent.

When it comes to fashion Africa has not been left behind as of lately we have seen a number of designers using different prints from different parts of Africa in their collections. Stella Jean who presented her Fall/Winter 2013 collection in Rome titled her new showcase the “cross-cultural experience”.


African fashion has now emerged with a hint of Western style, by combining the two cultural influence makes it more fun and funkie. African prints are made using African wax prints or ‘ankara/khanga/kitenge’ prints. Africa prints can easily be worn to work, parties, as well as casual wear.

Faith wore her A-line high waist skirt with a green top, black blazer, black stilettos and a handbag for a chic work style.
