London Fashion week
I met these two lovely ladies at the London fashion week on friday. They looked fab and they didn’t mind me taking a photo of them. I love the whole boho chic look on them and they look fabulous. Boho chic style has been around for ages and it’s all about looking fabulous but effortless at the same time. Below is guide on how to rock boho chic look.
Wear earthy colours to achieve a boho look and if you wear bright colours keep it to a minimum. Colours such as brown, grey, black, gold, khaki and cream are favourite with boho looks.
Boho style has no limit on the amount of accessories you can wear, the more the better. Wear chunky accessories, headbands, gemstones, beads, feathers, and gunmetal accessories.
Boho style is also in favour of drape/boho and bucket shape handbags. Bags with fringe, or tassel are good for boho looks.
Boho style is all about layering – try and layer different fits, lengths and textures to avoid looking like a homeless person. layering is all about mixing and adding the right amount of volume to make you look chic. Keep it feminine and chic by mixing oversized with tailored/fitted clothes. Make sure you maintain a balance in your layering.
To get a boho look wear clogs, sandals, boots. Don’t be shy wearing your shoes with stocking or knee/ thigh high socks. Soft fabrics such as leather or suede and details like tassels and fringes are favourites with boho looks.
Boho lovers love to wear items that fit well but drape, make sure your clothes look and feel comfortable. Balance is the key here you need to mix loose/fitting items together. Boho style is all about individuality and bringing your personal style to it. Another thing to consider is to keep your make up as natural as possible by wearing as little foundation as possible, apply warm shades.
