Pastels

Pastels have manifested themselves in so many different ways and are huge spring/summer trend. Refresh your wardrobe with spring’s pastel palettes which are perfect for brightening up your wardrobe this season.

Consisting from sugary shades of soft pretty pink, peppermint, powder blue and lilac, pastels are everywhere from dresses, skirts, jackets, blazers, accessories, and pants. Pastel shades are transitional trends that can be worn from spring through to winter. Pastels can be dressed down or dressed up.
I love how Toyosi has paired her mint blouse with white tweed jacket, grey pants and black high heels. I love how she mix and match pastel and neutral for a classy look.

Balancing out hues can be a little bit tricky but with the right combination of pastels and neutrals one can embrace this trend easily. If you’re wearing one piece of pastel item balance the rest of your look with a solid colour pieces or neutrals colours.
One can also wear sugar hues head to toe but be warned if this look is not worn right you might end up looking like a cupcake. Sweeten up your style by adding accessories to your look. Not sure on how to wear this trend, why not introduce some bits here and there in your look until you get used to it. You can even incorporate pastel accessories such as bags, shoes, and jewellery. Pastel can also be worn with different prints/patterned items.
