Pink
Pink is the colour of spring-summer. This trend was spotted on Burberry, Tom Ford, Henry Holland catwalks and we knew it won’t be long before the celebrities follow suit as spotted at the Oscar awards.
How to wear pink
I am not a fan of pink so you won’t be seeing me rocking pink head to toe anytime soon. In fact I have got a pair of pink heels, a blouse and a dress that I have only worn once since I bought them and that was a two or three years ago.
If you’re a not a huge fan of pink you can still be on trend by wearing pink with your accessories or opt for pastel pink which works well with other colours. Pink can look be paired with other prints/patterns or worn head to toe. Wearing pink head to toe can be tricky but when done the right way the results can be flattering.
- Pink with other colours: Pair a fuchsia pink dress with a blue bag & heels.
- Pink with patterns: Pair a pink blouse with a floral trousers, pink heels and orange clutch bag for a stylish look.
- Pale Pink & other pastel – Pair a pale pink blouse with mint colours jeans, cream biker jacket and flat shoes for a shopping look.
- Head to toe pink: Pair a hot pink cropped blouse pair with a pastel pink high waisted pencil skirt, pink bag and pink strappy heels. Wear a pink floral blouse with pink cropped trousers and pink pair of heels for a dinner date look. Wear a pink dress with pink or silver shoes for a classic look. Wear a subtle pink skirt with a blouse, clutch and heels for a classic look
