The fashion world is currently in love with the Asian inspired prints. Add a touch of Eastern promise to your wardrobe with exotic prints and vibrant colours this spring/summer 2013.

Oriental prints come in form of birds’/dragon/tigers motif, phoenix, watercolour prints, detailed embroidery, mandarin collar, Asian style artwork, golden painted & embroidered tapestries, rustic flowers prints/patterns (such as chrysanthemums/mums, lotus, peony, orchid, plum blossoms  which have Asian influence), dark colours and fur are also types of Asian inspired style.

Oriental prints are suitable for office wear, dinner dates or lunch outfits. Wear clothing’s that portrays Asian style and if you’re not bold enough start by wearing one rich & bold oriental piece with neutral colours or accessories. Here are a few tips on how to wear oriental prints without looking like an Asian sci-fi extra, pair patterned slim cut pants and an oriental print top with strap heels which are perfect for summer evenings. Wear a mandarin collar dress with heels and a clutch bag which is perfect for a night look. Pair a golden painted embroidered blouse with a solid colour skirt and heel for an effortless look. To spark your look pair an embroidery dress with ankle boots.

Pair an oriental jacket/bomber with a pair of shorts, basic t-shirt and trainers for a brunch look. Kimono is no longer seen as martial arts uniform as it can be worn with skinny jeans, a belt and heels for a boho chic look. For a beach look pair your kimono over your bikini and sandals.
